NEW YORK (BRAIN) — Eddy Merckx Cycles USA has launched an outside sales team following its transition from consumer direct sales back to IBD sales in the U.S. The company said the transition has been successful as it now has more than 80 retail locations.

"A strong emotional connection to Eddy Merckx himself along with recent raving reviews from the U.S. and global press are certainly helping the brand re-establish itself," said Heather Rizzi, the brand's national sales manager. "We're committed to raising the service standards to our IBD clients by providing timely response, successfully directing consumer inquires to IBDs, assisting with product sell-through, and delivering continuing education on our brand and product"

The company is still hiring reps in several territories. Those interested should contact the brand's director for the Americas, Phillip Lucas, at phillip@eddymerckx.com.
