POC names Wolf North American bikes sales manager

Published March 4, 2015

PARK CITY, Utah (BRAIN) — POC has plucked Robb Wolf from its independent sales rep force and named him North American bike sales manager.

Prior to joining Halligan Sports, POC’s sales agency in Northern California, Wolf served as the U.S. sales manager for NeilPryde Bikes and as the Argon 18 brand manager at Sinclair Imports. Previous to his appointment with Argon 18, Wolf spent a decade in multiple roles with Patagonia across dealer services and sales support.

“Robb made an immediate impact for our brand in the Northern California territory and, with his experience leading sales and brand teams in the industry, he was a clear choice to fill a role so important to our independent reps and retailers,” said Willie Ford, POC’s marketing and promotions director for North America. “We have enormous momentum behind our AVIP and Raceday road lines and we see a tremendous amount of opportunity with Robb in our leadership team.”

While at NeilPryde and Argon 18, Wolf oversaw significant growth in the dealer bases for each brand in the U.S. At Patagonia, Wolf was integral in launching the brand’s first dealer camps under its fly-fishing division. He joined POC’s independent sales rep force in September 2014.

“I was at Eurobike in 2014 and everybody kept saying, ‘You need to go over to the POC booth,’ because the energy was just amazing. I spent 20 minutes with the team in the booth and joined the brand’s rep force a month later,” Wolf said. “POC’s focus is on growing organically while staying true to our mission. Providing our network of independent bicycle dealers with a high level of service is key to that growth — and is a top priority for me.”
