ELKTON, Md. (BRAIN) — Gore Bike Wear and Gore Running Wear have hired two additional field reps. Nell Gingerich, based in Portland, Ore., will handle the Pacific Northwest, while Kevin Connelly will cover the Midwest from Chicago.
Gingerich and Connelly have more than 16 years of combined sales experience in the running and cycling industries.
"Nell and Kevin's proven expertise will be a tremendous asset as we grow both these brands," said Mark Yardley, North American team leader for Gore. "Their intimate knowledge of these categories, especially the retail side, and their personal passion for cycling and running, will be instrumental to our dealer initiatives and building these relationships."
Prior to Gore, Gingerich worked at Fit Right, a running specialty store in Portland, as an apparel buyer, while handling social media. She is an avid runner who recently ran a half marathon and set a personal record.
Connelly, who has been in the Chicago area for more than 10 years, was an account manager for New Balance, where he managed an account base of specialty retailers and regional accounts. He is a devoted triathlete who competes regularly.
