Meredith joins Tenneco-Marzocchi in sales, marketing

Published April 7, 2014

LONG BEACH, Calif. (BRAIN) — David Meredith, formerly co-owner of mountain bike brand One Ghost Industries, has joined Tenneco-Marzocchi in the newly created role of North American sales/marketing coordinator. He started with the company April 1.

His duties include overseeing North American sponsorship programs, event planning, social media, ad direction and placement, copywriting, sales promotions and managing OEM and distributor sales. Some of those functions were previously handled from Tenneco-Marzocchi's headquarters in Italy, and Meredith's presence in California will now remedy difficulties serving North America due to the time-zone differences.

Meredith previously worked for Marzocchi USA from 2002 to 2003 in a similar marketing and sponsorship role. His industry experience also includes working as service manager and Portland, Ore.-based retail chain Bike Gallery and as a sales and technical rep for Ryders Eyewear. He co-founded One Ghost Industries in 2006.

"I was looking to move away from One Ghost and use everything I've learned from my time there," Meredith said. "I knew that Marzocchi could use my help, so we've been working since October of last year to make something happen."

Meredith continues to work as a consultant to One Ghost, which was founded in 2006 and is currently seeking a buyer.
