WASHINGTON, DC (BRAIN) — The National Bicycle Dealers Associaton is offering scholarships to help dealers attend the 2014 National Bike Summit in Washington, D.C., March 3-5, 2014.
The scholarship program is designed to make it affordable for bicycle dealers to participate in the Summit, which is produced annually by the League of American Bicyclists (LAB).
The NBDA is making available 25 scholarships of $1,000 each to NBDA dealer members who have not attended past Summits. The goal is that first-time attendees will find the event so powerful and compelling that they will return to future Summits on their own.
Priority will be given to recipients from states and regions previously lacking representation. If more applications are received than the number available, recipients will be chosen by the NBDA via lottery.
January 15 is the deadline to apply via the on-line application.
