SAN FRANCISCO, CA (BRAIN) — Swarm, a startup that provides analytics and marketing tools for small and medium-sized retailers, has raised $3.5 million in Series A funding, led by Icon Venture Partners.

Swarm is currently used in about 300 bike dealers in the U.S. and abroad. The software helps retailers analyze foot traffic and conversions and provides automated marketing tools to drive store visits, customer engagement and purchase activity.

“Our customers are the most important part of this business. Delivering an easy-to-use product that solves real problems is what drives us. We're continuing to hit the gas on new features,” said co-founder and EVP of sales Ryan Denehy.

Swarm is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Los Angeles, New York and Sydney, Australia.
