BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — SmartEtailing has hired David Wert as its new client services director. He joined the company Oct. 14 and is working out of the company's Boulder office.
Wert is a former owner of Boulder's two-store bike retailer, Cutting Edge Sports, which later became the Trek Stores of Boulder and Lafayette, Colo. In these stores, he used SmartEtailing's services for his website and online catalog.
"As a former client, I truly believe in the value of SmartEtailing's services, having witnessed firsthand the effects of a well-crafted digital marketing strategy. As client services director I'm looking forward to helping retailers build their business with the great tools that SmartEtailing has to offer," Wert said.
Before his Colorado bike shops, Wert also owned a bike store in Marquette, Mich. He also grew up working in retail at his parents' stores.
SmartEtailing helps specialty retailers in the bicycle industry manage and maintain their own websites and online catalogs.
