Enve, Nathan and Timbuk2 make list of fast-growing companies

SHARON HILL, PA (BRAIN) — Carbon component maker Enve, visibility brand Nathan and bag maker Timbuk2 were each named to Inc. magazine's list as one of the fastest growing 5,000 private companies in the U.S. 

Enve was ranked 1,198th on the Inc. 500/5000 list. The Ogden, Utah, company also made the list in 2012 at 717th place. The company posted three-year growth of 349 percent, with 2012 revenues of $12.6 million. Enve has added 50 new jobs in the last three years for a total of 78 now.

Nathan i smaking its first appearance on the list, at 2,325th place. The Pennsylvania company posted a 156 percent revenue increase between 2009 and 2012, with 2012 revenues of $14.7 million. The company has averaged 40 percent growth for nine consecutive years while also expanding distribution to 45 countries.

Timbuk2 also is making its first appearance on the list, in 3,917th place. The San Francisco company recorded three-year growth of 71 percent, totalling $29.5 million in sales last year. It's added 20 employees in the last three years, for a total of 70.  

Other companies of interest that made the list: KT Tape (354th), Gibbon Slack Lines (358th), OtterBox (416th), Trigger Point Performance (856th), Nuun & Co. (1,873rd), Oskar Blues (maker of Reeb bicycles — 1,910th).
