SUN VALLEY, ID (BRAIN) — Club Ride sales in the first quarter increased by 154 percent over last year, partners in the Idaho-based clothing brand said this week. The sales growth was about 9 percent greater than internal projections.
“We remain confident that the bike industry can finally follow in the footsteps of the outdoor and ski industries to make casual-technical apparel a part of the average cycling store's repertoire,” said Scott Montgomery, the company's CEO.
“We are convinced the time has come to build clothing for every cyclist in America.”
Club Ride also announced the hiring of Cole Casperson in the new position of controller and Andrea Marchand to manage Canadian sales.
Club Ride will launch its first fall/winter collection, which is scheduled to arrive at Club Ride dealers in time for back-to-school sales at the end of August.
