VALENCIA, CA (BRAIN) — Italian shoe maker Vittoria USA has relocated its warehouse from Ohio to California and hired Kim Maynard as general manager. Maynard will work out of its new 2,400-square-foot warehouse and offices in Valencia.
Maynard returns to the bike business after working for Great American Marketing. Prior to that she worked as general manager of Torelli Imports in 2006 and also spent seven years at SixSixOne in sales and marketing roles. Maynard also worked retail for 10 years.
“Relocating to a larger warehouse on the West Coast will allow us to improve our dealer support and place us in the heart of one of the country’s most vibrant cycling communities,” said Edoardo Vercelli, owner and president of Vittoria USA and vice president of Vittoria Cycling Shoes.
Vittoria USA moved in mid-March. The new facility has been up and running since the first week of April. The company is preparing for a large shipment of shoes, as well as new 2013 helmets to add to its existing inventory. The company also is the U.S. distributor for CicloSport cycling computers and heart rate monitors.
