Overholt joins Bikerumor.com

GREENSBORO, NC (BRAIN) — Bikerumor.com has added a full-time tech editor, Zach Overholt.

Overholt started out as a shop mechanic at Cyclesport in Loveland, Ohio, later working as service manager and then general manager there. While at Cyclesport he started writing freelance for Bikerumor. He then stepped into a sales and marketing role with Volagi Cycles.

"My time with Volagi gave me a much better appreciation for what it really takes for all bicycle manufacturers to get a bike from the drawing board to the sales floor," Overholt says. "It's a level of empathy that is not easy to acquire."

"Zach shares my enthusiasm for all things bicycle related," said Bikerumor founder Tyler Benedict. "And he's equally excited about our approach to covering the industry from the product and technology angle. I'm stoked to have his energy and knowledge helping fuel the fast-paced content we're known for, and he's already hard at work on a new tech series that will debut soon!"
