BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — Bike fit company Retül is adding a Footbalance custom footbed class to its professional bike fitter education programs, in an agreement the companies announced this week.
Retül offers a variety of fitter education and certification classes through its Retül University program. Its course offerings now include one on "Cycling Specific Footbeds" that will teach the Footbalance custom analysis and molding process.
“Retül takes pride in being the leading data-driven fit system globally,” says Retül University’s global manager Matt Smith. “And now, with Footbalance, we are able to take our expertise even further by offering custom-molded footbeds for an even more precise fit, which will result in a more well-rounded set of fitting tools for our certified fitters and most importantly, gives riders better power transfer and comfort on the bike.”
Footbalance and Retül are each based in Boulder. Last year Specialized invested in Retül.
