Ethic Industries to offer painting services

Published February 21, 2013
DENVER, CO — Ethic Industries, the owner of the Alchemy Bicycle Company, is launching a bike painting service at its Denver headquarters. Chroma Fab will offer OEM painting for bike frame and fork manufacturers, as well as motorsports manufacturers.

Chroma Fab is setting up inside the space that Alchemy set up in Denver last year, which is adjacent to the Primal Wear clothing company and shares space with several other bike industry companies.

Chroma Fab was conceived by Ethic Industries' president and managing partner, Matt Simpson, who said the division will specialize in offering creative and edgy paint schemes as seen on some Alchemy bikes. He said Chroma may eventually offer consumer paint services but initially will focus on OEM and that the company is already planning to paint bikes made by one Boulder custom builder.

Chroma Fab will be on display starting Friday at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show in Denver.
