FORT COLLINS, CO (BRAIN) — Industry veteran Dannie Nall has joined Exustar USA as general manager as the shoe and pedal brand looks to increase its presence in the U.S. Exustar has opened a new warehouse and office in Fort Collins, where Nall recently relocated from Wisconsin.
"All aspects of Exustar’s USA business are being reviewed," the company said in a statement announcing Nall's appointment.
Exustar offers off-road, road and comfort pedals, shoes, cleats, shoe covers and cycling clothing. Hans Johnson is Exustar USA’s first USA IBD distributor.
Nall has a long history in the bicycle business. He worked as a mechanic and manager for several IBDs before owning his own Schwinn shop in the early 1980s. After selling his store in Santa Cruz, California, he joined Specialized in 1987 as an inside salesman.
Nall has also worked for Bell Sports, Raleigh America and LeMond Fitness in product development, inside sales, OEM sales and marketing. He also is a former Category 1 racer with success in road, track, cyclocross and mountain bike racing.
