MONTEREY, CA (BRAIN) — The Sea Otter Classic has added Mike McCormack and Wendy Booher to its communications staff. The two replace outgoing communications director Donna Brown.

McCormack and Booher each have a history with the event. McCormack was the author of the event's social media launch in 2010 and 2011. He comes to Sea Otter from the Eagle, Colorado, agency, Uncommon Communications. His responsibilities include coordinating the event's vertical and nonendemic media outreach.

Booher is returning to the Sea Otter after a one-year hiatus. She joined the event in 2002 and worked for Sea Otter onsite and remotely throught the 2010 event.

Sea Otter marketing director Jeannie Pruitt-Retamoso said Donna Brown will be missed.

"Donna's contributions over the past several years have been invaluable to our success. She's been a key member of our team and more importantly, a good friend - we miss her already," Pruitt-Retamoso said in a statement. "Change is inevitable though, and we're excited about the addition of Mike and Wendy to our team and the fresh perspectives each brings."
