BOULDER CITY, NV (BRAIN) — The 2012 Interbike Expo got underway Monday with the opening of the Outdoor Demo at Bootleg Canyon a few miles from Las Vegas.
Nearly 100 exhibitors showed their wares and many made bikes and accessories available for tests on nearby roads and trails.

Crank Bros expected to sell about 2,000 pairs of the special Interbike-color pedals. The company has done a special color for Interbike for several years. -
Will Funk of Rochester, New York, prepares some Specialized demo bikes. -
Fizik's Suzette Ayotte demonstrates the company's velcro shoe display system. Ayotte kept busy Monday helping sell 2012 model year shoes to retailers. -
Jay Moore demonstrates the Looxcie, a tiny camera that can stream live video to your Facebook page. The camera sells for $149 to $179, depending on model, and weighs less than 30 grams. It can mount to a helmet, your ear or a hat brim. -
It was in the high 90s at the Demo, but the outdoor showers didn't get much use when we checked. -
Oaklley had a big presence with its massive truck and attracted crowds with a lens-changing contest. -
