Landsaat named Raleigh senior product manager

KENT, WA (BRAIN) — Industry vet Mark Landsaat has been named senior product manager at Raleigh  USA.

Landsaat has more than 15 years' experience in the bike industry in a variety of positions. He raced mountain bikes at the pro level for the Dutch Pro Flex Mountain bike team in the mid 1990, and also managed the team. He remains an active mountain bike and cyclocross racer.

He worked for K2 Bicycles from 1997 to 2005, and served as the company's director of product development from 2004 to 2005.

Since 2005 he ran his own company, Ardiano Design, a design and engineering consulting firm that developed designs for companies such as Noble, Diamondback, Avanti, Tomac and Proflex.  He also worked with Kinesis Industries to introduce new methods for forming aluminum tubes.

He joined Raleigh in April as R&D manager.

Kyle Casteel had been Raleigh's senior product and brand manager until leaving the company late last month.
