LAS VEGAS, NV (BRAIN) Thursday July 12 2012 8:16 AM MT—The Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition is hosting its first Thought Leaders keynote in conjunction with its annual leadership awards presentation at the Interbike trade show.
Pat Cunnane, president and CEO of Advanced Sports International, will be the featured speaker. Cunnane, a bike industry veteran, has led ASI since 2001 and grown the company from a single brand to five and from 20 employees to 80. He will share his experiences and tactics around fostering a diverse workplace.
The OIWC is launching the Thought Leaders Series at the trade show to open discussion and dialogue around diversity related issues in the workplace.
Cunnane’s keynote will follow an awards presentation that will recognize two women in the bike industry for their leadership and inspiration to others.
OIWC will kick off its event at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20. It will be held at the Sands Convention Center.
