Electra adds Supplier Sync for SmartEtailing dealers • Panda Bicycles features on Discovery Channel show Thursday • Turner auctions bike to benefit SoCal high school league

VISTA, CA (BRAIN) Thursday June 7 2012 11:35 AM MT—Electra Bicycle Company has developed a system with SmartEtailing to allow consumers to see and order all items in Electra's inventory via participating retailers' websites.

With SmartEtailing's Supplier Sync, Electra retailers will be able to showcase every Electra bicycle, component and accessory including Personalization Station items.

“The boldness of Electra’s accessory offerings and how these complement their bicycle offerings make Supplier Sync for Electra retailers very appealing,” said Mark Graff, co-founder of SmartEtailing. “Every retailer I’ve spoken with about Electra’s inventory sharing has told me that they are very excited about this latest option.”

Travis Vance, Electra's IT director, said the company ha already seen the benefits of the system.

“We like that the system was designed specifically to work to the needs of our sales channel and allows our customers to easily shop our entire product line. Electra retailers who were already using the SmartEtailing platform will have the immediate benefit of a complete Electra product presentation, and it’s also a great opportunity for other dealers to move into this new cohesive business support system.”


Panda Bicycles features on Discovery Channel show Thursday

FT. COLLINS, CO (BRAIN) Thursday June 7 2012 11:45 AM MT—Bamboo bike maker Panda Bicycles will be featured in an episode of "How It's Made" airing on the Discovery Channel on Thursday evening.

The show will air at 9pm EST. The Ft. Collins, Colorado-based company will host a viewing party at the Road 34 bar/bikeshop starting at 6:30 pm MT.

The show will show how Panda frames are assembled using a patent pending joint design with bamboo tubes.


Turner auctions bike to benefit SoCal high school league

MURRIETA, CA (BRAIN) Thursday June 7 2012 11:53 AM MT—Turner Bikes founder Dave Turner has been a sponsor, a league parent and a coach in the SoCal high school mountain bike league. This year he's continuing his support by donating a special 2012 Turner 5.Spot bike to be auctioned for the league.

The auction began Wednesday and ends Saturday June 16th. All of the proceeds of the auction go to the League. Auction on Ebay.
