Bike Expo Exhibitor Numbers Rising

Published May 23, 2011

MUNICH, Germany (BRAIN)—Exhibitor registration is tracking up for Bike Expo’s third edition to be held in Munich this summer.

There is a 26 percent increase in registrations compared to the same time last year, according to a press release issued Monday by the show's organizer, Messe München.

New this year is an action hall, encompassing a dirt jump contest, the international bike polo competition and the 60-meter pump club track with steep curves, small doubles and a washboard section.

Brands such as Bionicon, Contour, Haibike, POC, Radon, Rose, SR Suntour and TSG will have booths set up in the action hall to give it more of a festival atmosphere.

There will also be an e-mobility exhibition hall with the number and size of presentation spaces growing consistently. Already signed up are Bionx, BH Bikes, Flyer, Kettler, Kalkhoff, MyStromer, NuVinci, Panther, Sachs Bikes and TranzX, among others.

The number of textile manufacturers exhibiting at the show is also on the increase. Apparel companies such as Craft, Löffler, Maloja and Vaude have already registered for the show.

Bike Expo starts with a demo day on July 20, followed by the three-day indoor show. For more information, go to www.bike-expo.com.
