FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN)—Eurobike will be launching a new public exhibition called VELOBerlin on March 26 and March 27.
VELOBerlin is a co-production of Eurobike and Berlin’s cycling center of excellence, Velokonzept.
Preparations for the premiere of the public exhibition VELOBerlin, which aims to spark consumer interest in cycling at the beginning of the new bicycle season, are already in full gear. Exhibitors such as Alfred Thun, ASISTA, Biketec, Cycle Union, C4C-sports, EPOCA Bicycles, Hermann Hartje (Victoria, Dahon), Hostettler (BIONX), Kalkhoff, NORWID-Fahrradbau, Pantherwerke, Ralf Bohle, Robert Bosch, riese und müller, RTI Sports, SQ-lab GmbH, THULE, Winora-Staiger, Zwei plus zwei and many other companies from the bicycle and accessories industries as well as from the area of cycling tourism have already booked their booths at the exhibition in Berlin, while many others have registered to attend.
“We’re very pleased with the interim results,” said Ulrike Saade of Velokonzept and Stefan Reisinger of Eurobike regarding the current roster of attendees.
“We need a clear flagship among the public exhibitions during the spring in the bicycle industry," said Giant's Oliver Hensche. "Until now, there has only been a fragmented landscape with many regional public exhibitions. In place of this, we need a central exhibition in the spring that is strong enough to draw attention throughout Germany. I believe that Messe Friedrichshafen in Berlin has the potential to establish such a leading exhibition.”
VELOBerlin will take place on March 26 and 27, at the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds. Immediately preceding this exhibition, on March 25, is the trade conference “METROMOBILE – People and Mobility in Urban Areas."
