SOUTH PASADENA, CA (BRAIN)—Move Press has inked a distribution deal with Little Rock, Arkansas-based online retailer Competitive Cyclist, giving the magazine a base of high quality enthusiast readers as the company's first print title, Peloton magazine, comes to market.
The agreement between South Pasadena-based Move Press and Competitive Cyclist includes distribution of Peloton magazine to the mail order company's best customers. Both print and interactive editions of Peloton will be distributed to Competitive's best customers. Other components of the relationship between Move Press and Competitive will be announced as they are being implemented.
"We're couldn't be more excited about the partnership that we've assembled with the team from Competitive," said Move Press founder and editorial director Brad Roe. "It gives us visibility with a group of the most rabid road bike consumers in the world and it gives Competitive another way to show their appreciation for the riders that think of the Competitive site as 'their local shop.'"
"Our customers look to Competitive Cyclist for more than just bike gear, they come to us for education and information on the technical side of those goods," said Competitive Cyclist's Brendan Quirk. "Peloton is doing something similar by telling in-depth and off-beat stories about the races, the riders and gear. Our efforts are complimentary, so it makes perfect sense for us to work together."
