TAITRA to Host Sporting Goods Seminar

NEW YORK, NY (BRAIN)—TAITRA, long recognized in the bicycle industry for its role in promoting the Taipei Cycle Show, is turning its focus to the outdoor and sporting goods industry.

TAITRA is hosting a half-day forum Aug. 6 at its New York office bringing together executives from the sporting goods and outdoor industries with trade specialists and key government officials.

The seminar will include a report on Taiwan’s exports of sports-wear apparel, an introduction to popular Taiwan name-brand sporting goods and related products, and a discussion of how to do business in Taiwan.

The seminar—Taiwan Sporting Goods Business Intelligence—will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at its offices on East 42nd St. in New York. Seats are limited. TAITRA is offering free air fare and hotel accommodations for companies with sales that meet certain goals. Besides promoting the Taipei Cycle Show it also promotes TaiSPO, a spring sporting goods show held in Taipei.
