Specialized Commuter Cup Results Are In

MORGAN HILL, CA (BRAIN)—Specialized's Bike to Work day Industry Commuter Cup Challenge results are in.

Industry Partners:

Tiny But Tough (50 or less employees companywide) — 3A Distribuidora with six full-time employees 100 percent participation.

Mighty and Small (50-100 employees companywide) — Advanced Sports, Inc. with 51 full-time employees and 38 percent participation.

Big Mac Attack (100+ employees companywide) — Specialized Bicycle Components with 341 full-time employees and 77 percent participation.

"We would like to also like to send congratulations and special recognition to the stellar efforts of Quality Bicycle Products this year," Specialized said. "With 502 employees, QBP had and an overall participation of 60.2 percent with an unbelievable 4,447 miles logged. This was a huge increase from last year which deserves some recognition, so we’re sending them a Globe bike."

Industry Bicycle Dealers – (in the event of a percentage tie, average miles commuted /employee broke the tie)

Single Speed (1 - 5 full-time employees)- Erik's Bike Shop — Eagan, MN Location with five full-time employees and 100 percent participation.

Small Chain Ring (6 - 10 full-time employees) — Marty's Reliable Cycle with seven full-time employees and 100 percent participation.

Medium Chain Ring (11 – 20 full time employees) — Island Park Cycles with 14 full-time employees and 100 percent participation.

Big Chain Ring (21+ employees) - Bicycle Sport Shop with 44 FT employees and 93 percent participation.

"Congratulations go out to everyone who participated," Specialized said. "This was a great year of events and we hope everyone had as great of a time as we did."
