Published December 16, 2009

PARK CITY, UT (BRAIN)—For more than 130 years Castelli has been producing award-winning cycling apparel and accessories straight from Italy. Now, they can stick one more accolade in their cycling cap: the RealCyclist.com 2009 Vendor of the Year. This is the first Vendor of the Year award presented by the one-year-old RealCyclist.com.

“Castelli continues to set the bar with providing the most innovative and technical apparel available in the cycling industry,” said Jeff Snyder, vice president of merchandising at Backcountry.com. “They have taken the time to listen to our customers and quickly translate their findings into product. From the beginning they have been amazingly supportive of our cycling model and have played an integral role to its early success. We are proud to be associated with such a fine brand and look forward to continued growth.”

RealCyclist.com acknowledged Castelli as its 2009 Vendor of the Year for their innovative products, outstanding marketing support, amazing growth in revenue and penetration in the cycling business, dialed logistics, receptiveness to feedback from RealCyclist.com buyers and an overall love for the sport of cycling.
