Published December 3, 2008

ALPINE, NJ (BRAIN)—The New York City man who died last Wednesday from a Nov. 9 cycling accident on Route 9W will be remembered with a memorial ride this Sunday.

Camille Savoy, 54, was struck by a car driven by Wha S. Kim, 71, of Englewood, when he was cycling north on Route 9W about 10 a.m. on Nov. 9. Kim rear-ended the bicycle. Savoy struck the windshield and rolled off the car, police said.

A memorial ride will be held this Sunday at 9 a.m. on the New Jersey side of the GWB in Savoy's honor. Riders are asked to meet just north of the bridge, on the grassy area off the road.
