SAN DIEGO, CA (BRAIN)—Lance Armstrong told the LA Times on Tuesday, inside the San Diego Air and Space Technology Center wind tunnel, that his final two rides at the Tour de France were "not fun."
"I want to say I'm not trying to be coy; I'm not playing games with them (the Tour) or with fans or with media. I simply don't know," Armstrong said.
However, his long time trainer Chris Carmichael told the LA Times that he "would be very surprised" if Armstrong didn't ride in next year's Tour de France.
Armstrong has already said that he would compete in 2009 at races like the Amgen Tour of California in February and at the Giro d'Italia in May.
