Interbike Golf Outing is Set

Published July 1, 2008

LAS VEGAS, NV (BRAIN)—An informal golf outing for 20 players will be held the morning after Interbike, Saturday, September 27 at the Paiute Sun Mountain course north of Las Vegas.

“We’ve been introducing more community and networking events in conjunction with Interbike, and this definitely fits into that category,” said Andy Tompkins, Interbike's show director. “It’ll be a great way to decompress the morning after the show, and a means to casually connect with industry peers after the crucial work has been completed.”

Growth Cycle’s Ray Keener, veteran of many BPSA, BLC and Catalyst golf outings, will coordinate the event on Interbike’s behalf.

“Bill Armas and I put on several of these in Long Beach in the late ‘80s, and it was a fun way to cap off Interbike,” Keener said.

The entry fee of $125 includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, range balls, and transportation to and from the Strip.

“We want to start small, with a very intimate gathering but hope that this event will grow in the future," Tompkins said.

To play in the Interbike Golf Outing, contact Keener at ray@growthcycle.net, or call (866) 442-2466. Twenty spots are available, and a complete sellout is anticipated.
