Chris Johnson Joins Polar

LAKE SUCCESS, NY (BRAIN)—Polar recently announced the hiring of Chris Johnson to the position of national accounts manager for health clubs.

In this role, Johnson will be responsible for developing programs and partnerships to promote the sale of Polar’s heart rate monitors and BodyAge™ products to health clubs and retailers.

Johnson comes to Polar with more than 20 years of experience in the outdoor, fitness and sports apparel industries with companies such as Nike and Oregon Scientific. Most recently he served as the director of sales for New Balance, a leading athletic products company. Mr. Johnson joined New Balance’s Sports Monitors division in November 2006 where he was responsible for managing the sports and sales division.
