LOS ANGELES, CA (BRAIN)—Hermes Sport has opened its doors as a new distributor of carbon fiber bicycle components.

Its mission is to give traditional bike shops a means of competing against online, direct-sales outlets in the carbon fiber road bike wheel market.

Both Swenson and Wyandt have been working at Zoic/Nitches for more than 10 years.

TREVISO, Italy (BRAIN)—Wilier Triestina owner and chairman Lino Gastaldello was killed on Saturday morning while cycling in Treviso, Italy. He was struck by a vehicle and thrown 30 meters, according to an Italian news outlet. He died from his injuries two hours later at the hospital.
