SAN DIEGO (BRAIN) — E-bike brand Stromer has redesigned its ST2 S-Pedelec model, enhancing its commuter qualities.
A Gates carbon belt drive is utilized for the first time by Stromer for quiet operation, driving hub gears and a rear-wheel motor.

The ST2 comes with low- and high-beam lights and a rear brake light. An integrated touchscreen display shows speed, battery level, bike location, and more.

For security, the ST2 has GPS localization and Smartlock with 3G and Bluetooth connectivity.

Other feature include:

  • 750-watt rear-wheel CYRO motor (maxium 28 mph).
  • Carbon belt is durable and lower maintenance than chain.
  • 5-speed hub gear with grip-twist shifters.
  • High-volume tires on 27.5-inch wheels.
  • Suspension fork and suspension seatpost.
  • 618Wh battery with a range of up to 75 miles, which can be optionally expanded to more than 100 miles.

The ST2 is available from authorized dealers in the U.S. and Canada in royal blue and dark gray. Starting at $5,699, it's available in two frame designs and multiple sizes, and can be adapted for rider needs through various factory options.
