NORTH VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN) — Race Face is now selling its Vault hubs in a new version that is compatible with J-bend spokes, for custom wheelbuilders.
The Vault hub was originally part of the brand's Rurbine R and Next R wheels, in a straight-pull spoke configuration.
"Riders and dealers have been asking for an option to build their own wheels with Race Face Vault. With custom wheel options booming, and riders desiring reliable hub options, we set to work putting our 3-degree engagement, stiffer hub flanges and longer lasting bearings into a package for specialty builds," the company said.
The J-bend Vault Front Hub has an MSRP or $174.99. The rear is $324.99. Weight is 177 grams front, 305 grams rear in the lightest axle configuration.
