BOISE, Idaho (BRAIN) — K-Edge and NiteRider have released a system to make all NiteRider Lumina lights compatible with GoPro-style mount interfaces. Cyclists can now clean up their handlebars by semi-permanently converting their Lumina light to a strap-free system, allowing the light to mount under a K-Edge computer mount.
"With so many NiteRider Lumina customers using out-front computer mounts it was the ideal fit to partner with K-Edge, the leader in the mount category." said Mike Ely, NiteRider's COO.
K-Edge is working with several brands on collaborations that will soon come to market, including a superlight Race Mount for Garmin Edge and the Wahoo Bolt GPS computers. This mount will be used by Team SKY, Quick Step and BORA Hansgrohe bikes at this year's Tour de France.
"Partnerships like this one are ideal for our brand and factory," said Eric Jensen, the owner and founder of K-Edge. "NiteRider makes a great light and we are focused on strong mounts."
The K-Edge NiteRider Adapter (Part number K13-2100) retails for $19.99. It is in stock now at QBP, the company said.
