GREENVILLE, S.C. (BRAIN) — Boyd Cycling is now offering White Industries hubs as an upgrade option on all its wheelsets.
"It's a perfect match," said company founder Boyd Johnson. "Our bike dealers love our wheels and price points, but there is a large demand for a higher end 'boutique' hub option. By partnering with White Industries we now can now provide one of the highest quality complete wheel system on the market. I have long been a fan of the White Industries story and products. Much like us, they are a family-run business and their dedication to the craft allows them to produce one of the highest quality products in the world. It's an honor to have this partnership."
All of Boyd Cycling's road wheels spec'd with their Boyd PRIME hubs will now be offered with a White Industries T11 hub upgrade option.
Boyd mountain bike wheels spec'd with Boyd's new QUEST disc hub can be upgraded to White Industries CLD and CLD Boost disc brake hubs. All disc brake hubs are available in all current axle configurations.
Boyd Cycling's wheelsets currently range in price from $750 to $1550 for a complete set; wheels are also sold separately. Adding the White Industries hub to the wheelsets will carry a $350 upgrade per wheelset. All hubs will be anodized black.
At Interbike, Boyd will launch its Kanuga alloy and Ridgeline carbon disc mountain bike wheels, dis- specific carbon and alloy wheels, as well as new 90mm carbon clinchers and tubulars.
