Oakley releases limited edition Green Fade Collection

Published July 15, 2016

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. (BRAIN) — Oakley is releasing a limited edition Green Fade Collection, featuring hand-painted frames on several sunglass models.

The company said the green color harkens back to Oakley's O Frame MX dirt bike goggle, the company's first performance product, introduced in 1980. Oakley released a collection of green ski and snowboard goggles ahead of the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The company will produce 100,000 units with the special colorway, available on the EVZero, Jawbreaker, Radar EV Path, Flak 2.0 XL and RadarLock Path performance models. And lifestyle products including Frogskins and Crosslink Zero RX.

The models are available with Prizm lenses, including some with a dual Iridium lens coating that combines two Prizm lens tints, a feature Oakley has never offered previously.
