PETALUMA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Kitsbow worked with Polartec to release its new Radiator Tee. The mountain bike T-shirt uses Polartec's new Delta and PowerDry fabrics.
The shirt is designed for warm weather riding. The base fabric is PowerDry which has a patented bi-component construction that the company says pulls moisture from the skin, expands for faster evaporation, and lasts the life of the fabric. The fabric is 83 percent Poly and 17 percent Spandex with the look and feel of cotton, but better performance and durability.
For the shirt's venting panels, Kitsbow used the Delta fabric, which Polartec says provides wicking capabilities, reduces skin cling, regulates drying, and is highly breathable without any chemical treatments.
For a good fir when in the riding position, the tee is longer in the sleeves and tail and is tailored close to the body. It retails for $69 and is available in blaze, tropic blue, and citron.
