LAGUNA, Calif. (BRAIN) — The Crankbrothers Double Shot pedal has a clip-in mechanism on one side and a flat pedal on the other. It's intended for touring, mountain biking, commuting or winter fat biking.
The hybrid pedal has moulded pins and ribs for shoe grip and new premium bearings with a double seal system.
The spindle is forged chromoly steel and the body material is A380 aluminum, wth stainless steel wing area and stainless springs. The cleat release angle is either 15 or 20 degrees, depending on cleat positioning.
The pedals weigh 385 grams per pair and have a 5-year warranty. They come in three color options. Retail is $94.99.
