CHICAGO (BRAIN) — SRAM released some details of its RED eTap HRD group — which combines wireless shifting with hydraulic disc braking. The company said it will announce more details including MSRPs at the Eurobike show in August. The parts will be available in October.
The eTap HRD parrts are compatible with RED eTap derailleurs and SRAM Road 11-speed cranks, chains and cassettes.
The disc calipers will be available in post- and flat-mount options. The shift lever features a small diameter hood for more finger wrap. The levers have adjustable reach and contact point for the brakes. The braking system features SRAM's Bleeding Edge fluid bleeding.
