VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN) — Two Wheel Gear's new Pannier Backpack Convertible is set to hit shelves across Canada later this month.
The daypack is designed for commuters, students, urban cyclists, touring cyclists, and weekend leisure cyclists. It converts quickly from bik- mounted to stylish backpack.
Reid Hemsing, the owner and chief designer of Two Wheel Gear, said, "With the Pannier Backpack Convertible, we have designed the fastest converting pannier to backpack. It is big enough to hold all the daily commuting essentials, but sleek enough to carry around all day, and above all it is able to handle the heavy rainfall of the Pacific Northwest. If there was ever a commuter daypack perfectly fit for on and off the bike in the city, this is it."
The pannier offers universal Rixen and Kaul rack attachment, weatherproof materials, padded 15-inch laptop sleeve, a padded pocket for phone or sunglasses, an external U-Lock pocket, an integrated reflective design, two side water bottle pockets, utility loops for clipping lights and accessories and an included fluorescent, reflective rain cover.
The Pannier Backpack Convertible retails from $119-$129, and comes in a waxed canvas version for $169. It is available online at twowheelgear.com or at MEC locations across Canada.
