KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (BRAIN) — Nox Composites has released its S36R carbon clincher road rim, which is 36mm deep and 28mm wide externally.
The S36R is designed for rim brakes. It offers a tapered parabolic wind profile. Impregnated friction and extreme heat tolerant resins are used on the brake track for improved braking performance in all conditions. It weighs about 410 grams. MSRP is $479.
Nox was originally focused on mountain rims and wheels; this is the brand's second road product release and the first aimed squarely at competitive road racing.
It is available now in 20, 24 and 28 hole configurations with white or black decals. Custom color-matched decals are available as special order. Nox Composites also runs a custom wheel shop out of their Knoxville location, offering high quality handbuilt wheels in as little as 1-2 weeks.
