CHIUDUNO, Italy (BRAIN) — Kask's Rex mountain bike helmet features an In-Moulding design, extended head coverage and advanced ventilation system.
The Rex has 20 vents designed for maximum air ow at slower speeds and in warmer climates. The air flow is complemented by frontal pads with new technologies which encourage efficient sweat evaporation. The the helmet covers the lower occipital bone in the rear and has added temporal coverage in front for additional safety. It weighs 290 grams.
The Rex has a removable multi-position ratcheting visor and integrated goggle retention clip at the rear. There is a Lux Leather chinstrap and integrated camera mount. The visor and goggle clip are made from plastic polymer, and the visor screws are aluminum. Kask is an Italian company launched in 2004. It designs and manufactures helmets for cycling, skiing, mountaineering, climbing, equestrian, rescue teams and work safety.
It is available in four colors: lime green, blue, red and white. It retails for $199.95.
