MINNEAPOLIS (BRAIN) — Wolf Tooth Components is now offering its wide-narrow Drop-Stop 1-by chainrings to fit Shimano's Dura-Ace, Ultegra, 105, and Tiagra road cranks with Shimano's asymmetric 4 x 110mm bolt pattern.
Machined in Minneapolis from 7075-T6 aluminum, the 110BCD Asymmetric 4-Bolt chainrings use Wolf Tooth'sDrop-Stop tooth profile for chain retention and mud shedding. They are available in 38-to-44 tooth even sizes, intended for cyclocross, road, and gravel applications.
The rings are designed to be mounted in the outer chainring position for a 1-by road-optimized 44mm chainline.
They rings in 38t, 40t and 42t are are now available in black, retailing for $78.95. The 44t ring will be available Nov. 13. U.S.-made single-ring-specific 6 mm chainring bolt sets are also available in eight colors.
