Published April 21, 2015

BURNABY, British Columbia (BRAIN) — Easton Cycling is now offering three aluminum mountain bike rims separately for those who want to build wheels with their own hubs. It's the first time the brand has offered rims outside of its wheel product line.

The three new ARC rims are offered in three internal widths: 24mm, 27mm and 30mm, with each width available in 27.5-inch and 29-inch diameters. They are all tubeless-ready and have 32 spoke holes.

The 27.5-inch rims weigh 425, 475 and 490 grams for the three widths, respectively. The 29-inch rims weigh 455, 515 and 535 grams.

The rims have a brushed black anodized finish and a depth of 20mm.

The rims all will retail for $99.99. A tubeless kit with rim strip and valves is being offered separately.
