Selle Royal uses new memory foam technology in new saddles

Published February 18, 2015

VICENZA, Italy (BRAIN) — Selle Royal is introducing two new saddles this season that are padded with Slow Fit Foam, a memory foam with slow recovery properties that molds to the rider's body.

The company says the visco-elastic material improves weight distribution, handling shocks and vibrations better than traditional foam padding while increasing blood circulation and promoting pressure relief for immediate comfort. The Slow Fit Foam is combined with a specific foam matrix to create the right kind of support for riding. Selle Royal developed the material with its sister company,  Technogel, a maker of high-end mattresses and pillows.

This exclusive foam material is available this season in the Freeway Moderate Mens and Womens saddles, two restyled vacuum models from Selle Royal's Classic line.

Both models retail for $39.95. They are available now from Highway Two, which can be contacted at (877) 395-8088.
