DENVER, CO (BRAIN) — Sampson Sports' new Rock pedal features an alloy body with heat treated steel entry/release mechanics along with a stainless steel top plate under the cleat.
Additional features include micro-adjustable tension adjustment, cold-forged and CNC machined chromoly spindles, and sealed bearings, along with an upscale finish.
Sampson said the Rock pedals are for all-around use, with a emphasis on cross-country riding. They weigh 147 grams each and will be available in February for an MSRP of $99. Sampson plans to introduce a second mountain bike pedal in early spring.
