Saratoga debuts new models at Builders' Ball

PROVIDENCE, RI (BRAIN) — Saratoga Frameworks showed its first three models Friday at the New England Builders' Ball in Providence, Rhode Island, held in conjunction with the Providence Cyclocross Festival. Saratoga is the upstate New York framebuilding operation formerly known as Serotta.
 
“The whole team is thrilled to be able to introduce these bikes at the handbuilt bike show,” said Patrick O’Farrell, Saratoga's director of operations. “It’s a great place to show off our craftsmanship.”
 
Saratoga showed titanium road and cyclocross frames and a steel 'cross frame.
 
The titanium bikes featured oversized double-butted tubes, S-bend chainstays, a PF30 BB, and a 1 1/4-inch to 1 1/8-inch tapered steering column.
 
The CX Steel features an integrated Columbus tapered head tube, PF30 BB, S-bend chainstays, 3T Luteus carbon fiber fork and disc brakes.
