JACKSON, WY (BRAIN) — POC's Crane helmet combines low weight with a durable and dent-resistant construction.
The Crane has a two-density EPS liner. The stiffer outer part deals with higher energy impacts while the inside provides protection for lower energy impacts. In combination, the two densities provide a progressive stop in case of impact.
Crane has a considerably thicker shell than in-mold helmets, to further improve durability.
The helmet has an interior fit adjustment system and straps are molded inside the liner. It's available in four sizes and is certified to CE EN 1078, CPSC 12.03 and AS/NZS2063-2008. It weights 360 to 400 grams and is available this month.
