Rokbed mount puts phone on steerer tube

SANTA ANA, CA (BRAIN) — Rokbed v3 is a modular smartphone case with a variety of available accessories, including a new bike mount that attaches the case to the top of a bike’s steerer tube.

The bike mount weighs 2.26 ounces and is compatible with al 1 1/8-inch steerers. The phone case attaches to the accessory with a twist lock and a magnet, and a lanyard adds a third layer of security.  The attachment allows the phone’s viewing angle to be adjusted from negative 20 degrees to 55 degrees.

The polycarbonate case is compatible with the iPhone 4, 4S and 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S3.  The Rokbed v3 case retails for $39. The bike attachment retails for $69. A kit that includes the case and the bike mount is $99.
