GOLDEN, CO (BRAIN)—Feedback Sports has acquired Ultimate Bike Support, the bicycle division of Ultimate Holdings, Inc. of Fort Collins, Colorado.
BEAVERTON, OR (BRAIN)—Yakima Products has acquired RackandRoll, a manufacturer of high performance multi-sport trailers based in Frederick, Maryland.
VISTA, CA (BRAIN)—Zoot Sports has been acquired by K2 Sports. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
LAGUNA HILLS, CA (BRAIN)—Madison has secured the purchase of the Saracen brand and all the related intellectual property.
PHILADELPHIA, PA (BRAIN)—Advanced Sports, Inc. (ASI) has purchased Breezer bikes. The purchase includes all assets and trademarks of the Breezer bicycle brand as well as an agreement with Joe Breeze for consulting services on new projects and designs.
HOOD RIVER, OR (BRAIN)—Marking its fifth acquisition in the past five years, Billabong International Ltd. reached an agreement to buy surf, snow and bike accessories maker DaKine Hawaii Inc. for as much as $133 million.
BRUSSELS, Belgium (BRAIN) — Tenneco Inc. has entered into a preliminary agreement to purchase the suspension business of Gruppo Marzocchi, an Italian-based worldwide leader in supplying suspension technology in the two-wheeler market.
ENSCHEDE, Netherlands (BRAIN)—Amtel-Vredestein, the Netherlands automotive and bicycle tire maker, has agreed to be acquired by Sibur Holding, owner of Sibur Russian Tires, in a $370 million deal that assures the financially troubled Dutch company’s future.
