STUTTGART, Germany (BRAIN) — Bosch eBike Systems has agreed to purchase COBI, a connected biking startup that allows cyclists to use their smartphone as an e-bike control and display unit.
AMERICAN FORK, Utah (BRAIN) — Grip and handlebar tape manufacturer Lizard Skins has completed a deal to acquire Oury Grips, which also makes grips for bicycles and powersports.
Oury has been designing and manufacturing grips since 1968, while Lizard Skins celebrates its 25th anniversary in January.

NOVATO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Mike's Bikes, which has 12 locations in Northern California, is acquiring Public Bikes, a San Francisco-based brand that sells city bikes and accessories online and through a limited number of brick-and-mortar stores.

PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Stages Indoor Cycling has acquired VismoX, a group cycling software platform developed by Virtual Cycling AS of Norway.
Stages has been the global distributor for VismoX and the acquisition is effective immediately.
PRZASNYSZ, Poland (BRAIN) —Kross S.A., the largest Polish bike manufacturer, has purchased Multicycle, a Dutch e-bike brand that declared bankruptcy last year.
ARLINGTON, Va. (BRAIN) — Trek Bicycle has acquired Revolution Cycles, with locations in and around Washington, D.C. Nearby Trek dealers are mostly positive about the move.
PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — The online bike registry platform Project 529 has acquired the National Bike Registry and is integrating the two programs, which have nearly 400,000 bikes in their combined registries.
